RM350.00Price
Limited Edition of 10
This image shows a pillar of a temple in a plantation in Kedah. This temple is believed to be over 100 years old and was built by British planters to accomodate the needs of Indian labourers who were brought in from India to work at their plantations. Decades of growth in the Arasamaram (Sacred Fig Tree) has engulfed the temple. It symbolises the reality of Malaysian Indians whose historical past of working in plantations still effects their lives in the present.
