This image portrays the influence of British colonialism that still exists in Malaysia. The railway bridge in Segamat is one of the many infrastructures built by the British administration in order to facilitate natural resource production and export to the world. The classic British architecture is still visible on this bridge while the metric measurement system visible on the sign points to systems introduced by the British that are still being used in Malaysia.
