Jambatan Putus Segamat

RM350.00Price
  • Limited Edition of 10

Jambatan Putus Segamat is a testament to Malaysia being a former colonial territory. Built by the British as part of the infrastructures for the extraction of natural resources, bridges like this were the lifeline of colonial industries. The bridge was later bombed in 1942 by the Australian army as part of efforts by the British to stop the Japanese army in advancing down the Malay Peninsula in order to capture Singapore during the Japanes Occupation in World War 2.
