The images illustrates a leaf from the oldest rubber tree in Malaysia. There are only a few of these trees left in Malaysia, notably in Kuala Kangsar and Seremban. These trees originate from the first batch of rubber seeds brought by the British administration from the Royal Botanical Garden in Kew, London. These trees were planted under the supervision of H.N Ridley and are still being preserved after more than 100 years.
