This image portrays a Para Rubber seed. It represents the origins of most of the Malaysian Indian community living in contemporary Malaysia. A seed that would spark British colonists' agenda in monopolising natural rubber as a commodity while transferring this natural resource and human resource in the form of Indian labourers to the then Malaya.
